About Us
What type of individuals make up The Gospel Warehouse (TGW)?
When you attend TGW, you'll discover a vibrant community comprised of people who desire to know and love Jesus, engage with one another, and extend compassion to our neighbors, city, and the world. We encompass all ages, backgrounds, and experiences—young and old, wealthy and less fortunate. More fundamentally, we are, saved by grace and welcomed into God's Kingdom through Jesus Christ's sacrifice. Some are exploring Christianity for the first time, while others have been life long church goers. Everyone is welcome.
What if I'm not accustomed to attending church?
That's great! We exist for those who haven't joined us yet! Our gatherings provide a safe environment for those curious about God but who may not feel at ease in traditional church settings. We aim for (TGW) to be a space where you can explore, learn about, and grapple with who God is and what He desires for you. It’s perfectly fine if don’t have everything figured out or feel out of place. We often say that (TGW) is "the perfect church for imperfect people." Once again, everyone is welcome.
How long do the services last?
Each service typically lasts about 2 hours. What should I wear? Feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable. There’s no specific dress code, but most attire tends to be casual. Just be yourself and come as you are. Will I be put on the spot? No, we do not ask visitors to stand up, share their stories, or come to the front in any way.
Will I be asked to give money?
No, while we do collect an offering each week, you are not expected to contribute (though you are welcome to do so). Giving is meant for and regular attendees or those who have joined (TGW) mission. What are sermons like? We focus on preaching the Bible, primarily through verse-by-verse and book-by-book exploration. We believe that the Bible offers a compelling narrative and meaningful insights into life's challenges, far more fulfilling than self-help lectures. This approach also helps us address difficult topics and strengthens our reliance on God's word to enact transformation in lives.
